1974: NA10937, Flagstaff, AZ -- Working with California State University, Sacramento, excavated a Sinagua site just east of Flagstaff (apx. A.D. 1200).

1973: Calico Early Man Site, Yermo, CA -- I worked one season at the Early Man Site, the only American archaeological site Louis Leakey directed. Here, in a moment of humor, my father and I prepare my brother, Chris for dinner. The site's early cultural materials were never proven to be human, though the area contained plenty of late Pleistocene and Desert Culture artifacts.
